Mentored by Ruth Osborne, these young dancers have created their own short dance works — physical, thoughtful, serious, fun. For some, this is their first choreographic effort; while some have choreographed works for several years before they set off for tertiary dance studies. 

The project aims to develop choreographic awareness in young dancers as soon as possible — moving beyond just ‘doing the steps’, to making meaningful dance.

This year, Hot To Trot will include new short works (including dance films)  by:
 Emma Batchelor, James Batchelor, Amanda Lee, Madison Hegarty, Bhenjamin Radburn, Chloe Chignell, Eliza Sanders and Tamar Peacock.
