Q: Why donate to QL2 Dance Inc?
A: Access & excellence for young people in dance
Every year we receive donations from individuals and companies, from $5000 down to $5. Every one makes a difference.
QL2 Dance is a non-profit organisation, developing the next generation of dancers and dance-makers for over 10 years.
We are not a dance school. Rather, we run programs where young people develop their skills and work with choreographers to create and perform challenging contemporary dance works.
With your help, we can offer bursaries for access; and scholarships for excellence.
Bursaries are confidentially offered to young people in financial distress, and cover part or all of the costs of participation.
Scholarships are offered to young people with outstanding ability and capacity in dance, to participate in touring and conference opportunities interstate and overseas.
QL2 Dance Incorporated is a non-profit Incorporated Association, incorporated in the Australian Capital Territory.
It is a "Charitable Institution" endorsed by the Australian Government to access the following tax concessions:
- GST Concession
- FBT Rebate
- Income Tax Exemption
We operate a tax-deductible fund,“The Australian Choreographic Centre Development Fund”, which is on the Australian Government’s ‘Register of Cultural Organisations'. Donations over $2 are tax-deductible.
