Luke Currie-Richardson performed at the 2009 Deadly Awards, and recently appeared in Wesley Enoch's 'I Am Eora'. He has trained in traditional Torres Strait Island dance since 2002 under Gerib Sik, and Noel and Kay Zaro. He is a des-cendant of the Kuku yalinji people and Munaldjali clan, with connections to Mer Island in the Torres Straits.
Jacqui Cornforth was born in Cairns and has Aboriginal (Yadhaigana/ Wuthathi–Drummond) and Torres Strait Islander (Thursday/Badu – Seden/Raymond) heritage as well as ties to England. She performed in Quantum Leap in Canberra (2000 –2007). They both studied at NAISDA for 2 years, and are now studying dance at Queensland University of Technology.
