Quantum Leap Australia believes that dance is a vital human expression. We commit to facilitating dance experiences for all people.
Quantum Leap Australia is located at Gorman Arts Centre at 55 Ainslie Avenue, Braddon.
Our offices are open Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm.
Evening classes run Monday-Thursday, with staff on duty-of-care from 4:00pm, until 15 minutes after the end of classes.

Quantum Leap is in ‘A Block’ at Gorman Arts Centre, which is on the corner of Ainslie Avenue and Currong Street North.
A combination of free and paid parking is available on all sides of Gorman Arts Centre.

Please be aware that Gorman Arts Centre is currently under renovation. Construction has limited the number of parking bays available on Batman Street and fencing may impact your planned pathway to Quantum Leap if you are coming from Batman Street. We encourage you to allow plenty of time for your visit. For more information please visit this link.

Our venue is a split-level space. See below for access information.
The ‘upper level’ includes a reception area, office, and meeting space.
The ‘lower level’ includes a 92-seat black box theatre, a large foyer space, and two dressing rooms, each with one toilet. Additionally, there is a small bar area that includes a fridge, microwave, and kettle. There is a filtered water system in the foyer outside the theatre.
Our venue has heating and cooling systems. Each space has windows for natural light, as well as overhead lighting options.

Gorman Arts Centre is a historic building situated around two central courtyards. A Block is in the courtyard closest to The Canberra Centre.
Our front entrance (upper level – reception area, office and meeting space) faces the courtyard. There is level entry access to this entrance from Ainslie Avenue. Please note: if you are arriving from Batman Street, there are some stairs when crossing the courtyard.
While entry to this area is level access, there is a short flight of stairs down to our foyer and theatre space.
We are able to open a separate accessible entrance that leads directly into the foyer space for access directly into the theatre. If this is something you might need, please let us know ahead of your visit by contacting us.

The closest accessible car park is located on the corner of Batman Street and Currong Street North. If you require level entry to Quantum Leap and have parked in these car parks, please use the footpath on Currong Street North to access the courtyard from the Ainslie Avenue side of the building.
The best accessible drop off location is on Ainslie Avenue.

Accessible seating is available for all performances in our Theatre. Seating is located at the front row, level with the stage.
These seats are not available to book online. Please contact us directly to make a booking at least 24 hours prior to the event.

An Accessible, all gender bathroom is located in the Gorman Arts Centre courtyard.
A code is needed to access this bathroom, please ask a Quantum Leap Team member for the code as needed.
